1.  Fan Appreciation Day
In the tradition of the traditional Berserker Bear Warriors the Newfoundland Berserkers will be giving away bear pelts to fans of all ages.  Let's face it, our Newfies get gold and what better way to keep our hearts and bodies warm than a pelt of a recently slain bear.  It's fun for the whole family. 2. Looking Towards the Future
The dead last Newfoundland Berserkers are in a good position to improve upon their position in the standings next season.  It is expect that the Zerkers will only lose one player to the SHL next season however it will be an impactful one with Faust Faker ready to make the jump.  Faker was a part of that top line that produced most of the scoring for the Zerkers this season.  Coming in at 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) Faker's leadership will be missed.

Top team, and top 10 league goal scorer, Brennan Kennedy III is poised to make a triumphant return.  Can he make a run at the scoring title?  This pundit thinks, YES.  Coming in at 57 points (35 goals and 22 assists) Kennedy will miss line mate Faker but has the talents to elevate anyone placed on that line.

Fellow Season 67 draftees Otto Steinberger Jr, Rasmus Bergling and Pope Cowsi Jr will look to make an impact as they continue their traning and rise through the ranks.  Steinberger has put in a LOT of training in the last two weeks and has really improved his offensive skill set.  We should see a big improvement in production there.  Bergling has also put in the training heavily over the past could of weeks.  He has possibly come close to maxing out his potential at this level and looks to add a lot of positivity to this squad going forward. Cowsi Jr has been seen hitting the training room a bit and looks to make some slow and steady improvements.  The Zerkers hope that he can continue this upward trend as they will need scoring to climb their way out of their cellar.

This year's Rookie class looks promising for the Zerkers with rookies Philip Fry, Lester Oiduser, Tummy Hurts, Matiss Ozolinsh, and Hingle McCringleberry.  The rookie class for the Zerkers has been very active and hitting that training hard with the majority of the group using every opportunity available to improve their skill and contribution to the team.  Lester Oiduser and Philip Fry had been paired together all season long including the opportunity to quarterback the second power play for Newfoundland.  They have both been training hard and look to become the top defensive pair for the Zerkers.  They have the potential to be offensive threats as well as helping keep the puck out of the net.  This duo is a bright spot for this team's future. Ozolinsh has matched the training efforts of Fry and Oiduser to help become a new scoring threat on the right wing.  This what the Zerkers really need to improve.  Tummy Hurts and Hingle McCringleberry both are both making incremental improvements.  They both look to become blue chip assets and help solidify the lineup in the future.  Newfoundland have also made a late FA signing in John Hopoate.  If history does indeed repeat itself regarding training he will be a very welcome addition.

The future looks bright for the Newfoundland Berserkers.  They have a lot of dedicated and talented players that have the potential of taking the Zerkers to the next level.  We may have had a  very tough season but look for this team to be competing for the Cup in the next couple of seasons. Quoting Timbuk 3, "The future is so bright, I gotta wear shades". (557 Words)(11 TPE)

15. R&R
Philip Fry will be spending the upcoming downtime with family & friends.  He will catch up with his 12 times great nephew Hubert Farnsworth for whom he used to work for as a delivery boy for Planet Express delivery.  He will get into some trouble with his old best pal Bender Bending Rodriguez.  They may be bad for society but they're great for each other.  He will of course spend the majority of his time with his one true love, Leela.  They will reminisce and plan for the Future(ama).
