After the final game of the season was played, the Maine players, management, and support staff all got into this fleet of 4x4's and headed off into the spooky wilderness of the great state of Maine. The team is away for a pre post season bonding. No electronics, no phones. They will be spending the weekend working together, or just hanging out. Thinking up new plays and gaining that chemistry, goofing off and having a good time.
Some of the more experienced vets knew the drill, so they loaded up dozens of coolers with beer, rum and bourbon and cigars and the convoy made its way out into the darkness of the forest.
Arriving at an isolated encampment a few hours later, the team got to work figuring who was sleeping where, assigning cooks and just taking note of their surroundings. Much to their surprise they found a ice rink that had hept the ice due to the cooler temperature in the forest, and a bus with all their equipment rolled up behind them. Coach jumped out with a sly grin and whistle in his mouth, blew it, and said "On the line in 5 minutes, we're skating tonight!"
