PLAYER PROMPT -It's the first home game of the season, and you're getting beat badly. Down by 5, it's late in the third, and the coach wants someone to send a message that your team is not just going to lie down and lose this season. They want someone to fight!
Written Task: Is that player going to be you? Is your player a fighter? Have they ever fought before? Would they ever if they haven't yet? Why or why not? If you have fought, do you remember who it was with? Did you win? Who started it? What does your player think about that aspect of the game? If you're a goalie, tell me what it would take to get you out of your net and skating down the ice to get the other goalie!(150+ words)
Graphic Task: Show me your player during a scuffle! If they aren't the type to get into fights, show me them grabbing a player on the other team to watch from a safe distance.
HOCKEY PROMPT- I like asking these more broad hockey questions too, so if you don't want to talk about your player let's just talk about the game in general!
Written Task: What are your thoughts on fighting in hockey? It's definitely a lot less common these days, do you think that's a good thing? Do you think it has a place in the game, or that it's overdue to disappear entirely? Maybe you wish it happened more often? In your opinion, what circumstances justify a hockey fight? Specific things? Any time you want for entertainment's sake? Tell me your thoughts! (150+ words)
Graphic Task: Create a grit-themed hockey card with some of your player's physical stats. Hits, fights won, shot blocks-- use an appropriate photo for this type of card!
