Hockey Prompt

Growing up I did not get to watch the pure fighter hockey era, as I was born in 1994 and the position was transition to more of a hybrid position of an enforcer, someone who will lay a big or questionable hit and maybe fight 5 to 10 times a year. Now in 2022 you very rarely see the position or type of player utilized because of the speed of the game. However, there are definitely still some questionable players out there who are making questionable hits. And I think that is where the problem or the question falls. How do you handle these players, do you pay a guy to play 5 to 7 minutes who might be liability when he is on the ice - but in the hope he is there to stop something bad for happening?

Personally I think the era is dead, and fighting will be more of an emotional event. I do enjoy seeing a good fight every now and then though.
