As a goalie, there are really only three scenarios that would lead me to fight. The first would be a skater on the opposing team taking some kind of cheap shot at me. It would have to be pretty bad (more than just a ice spray or a hand slash), but in all honesty, anyone who does something like that is going to be getting worked up by my teammates before I'd have the chance. So that's the least likely scenario. The next scenario would be if the opposing goalie takes liberties with my teammates while they're already engaged with opposing skaters. Goalies tend to stay out of the scuffles, and for good reason: we're not very mobile, and player vs goalie fights pretty heavily favor the skater (as long as the goalie fights clean). Skaters tend to respect that, so if the goalie thinks they can get some free shots in, I'll be obliged to defend my teammates. But again, this isn't super common either. The most likely reason I'd get into a fight is this: all ten skaters are locked up, I look down the ice at the opposing goalie, with whom I likely have a good relationship with, they give me a nod, I shrug, and we decide to drop 'em. Why? For fun. We'll be throwing real punches, but most won't connect, and we'll stop once we've had our fill.
