The hockey players that come out of Ukraine are tough MF’s (you know what that means). Looking through SHL history Boris “The Beast” Poroshenko was one of the toughest the SHL has ever seen. The man was a wrecking ball and carried the Ukrainian strength on the ice. Oles Kobliska is the exact same breed! While he didn’t break out of his physical cage like Boris, Oles can be called on to put an opponent in his place. The Ukrainians don’t mess around and who do you think is Oles strength training coach? None other than Boris. His routines include punching through brick walls, wrestling bears and pushing real cars all by himself. In order to be the toughest, you have to have a program so unique that only the strongest can do it.
