Being a goaltender in the league means you need to focus on a few key attributes. Above all, and most importantly, a goaltender requires positioning and reflexes in order to succeed. Sure having a snappy glove or blocker is valuable and cool, but if you are not in position to make the save and can't react fast enough to block pucks then it is all for not.
