Patrice Bergeron trusts his mentors, Emil Egli, Nibbles the Squirrel, and Cale Salad, to negotiate his contracts. Emil, Nibbles, and Cale always know what Patrice wants in a contract. He met them in the Maine Timber locker room last season as a rookie and a new face to a championship-caliber team. Patrice trusts them because they continuously guide him in the right direction regarding earning TPE and where to place it as Bergeron develops into a 5-star caliber player for his SHL team, the Texas Renegades, and overall general. This allows for familiarity and confidence that the deal will be done to Bergeron's standards.
