Earlier this week, Alexi Piastri signed a 2 season contract extension with the Minnesota Monarchs. Piastri had some interesting demands as a part of the deal that were not a part of the press release. Alexi has demanded that he play with Dominik Froste. Piastri wants to play with Froste because he has no issue passing him the puck. Froste passed to Piastri all of last season and was a huge reason that Alexi notched a SMJHL record 60 goals. Piastri will receive access to a private jet that will take him to Nevada in between games so he can hang out at his surf ranch. Piastri will also receive a house at the Thermal Club in the California desert. The Thermal Club is an elite community that has been built with the purpose of letting rich people have fun with their toys, namely some of the most prized supercars / racecars in the world. The club features it's own FIA grade 2 race track and is not open to the public. The garage in Piastri's place came stocked with a Ferrari 458, a one of a kind McLaren, and a few open wheel single seaters. Life is good.
