While not projected to be a top team in the league, I think a lot of Nevada's success is going to be how the rookie forward group behaves on the ice. With the juniors, every player is close to being competitive and Nevada needs to see all lines performing. Players like Max Carnage and Thomas Sawschuk, while new to the program, need to step up and support more veteran players such as Ace Lighting and Alekss Ivanova. Being rookies, a lot of people will be critical of their all-around play, and both of the young players specialize on the more offensive focus side of the game. In essence, one would like to see them not be a defensive liability on the ice. Low giveaways are a big factor in that. Along with that, the defense will need to keep their goalie Luka Nogoalov from being shelled. Another task that will fall on their veteran defense pairs like Jølñgüštrâädæviñçh DuBølk and John Brown. Without the veteran defensemen setting the example, the rest of the team is likely to fall, and Nogoalov will flounder under the pressure.
