Story Mode Wilbur Creszhe is on his shit again, back channeling with local papers to drop false stories about third year forward M’Baku Olubori. Overall, this was a terrible idea as Olubori is currently the Platoon’s most marketable face and player. Tearing him down will only lose Creszhe money. To soften the blow, he also held is nose as he asked for positive stories about Johnny Hamilton’s work on the rebuild to also be littered about. The head coach has known—everyone knows Crazy Creszhe is a thorn in everyone’s side. This rose to the level of the primary ownership family, who approaches Hamilton asking what to do differently. Hamilton obviously would love Creszhe and his money to get thrown out (or at least put a gag order on the old fossil). The other owners did one better—their lawers worked with Hamilton to file libel lawsuits against Creszhe and the reporters who published the false statements about Olubori and the team. And those corporate lawyers ate—Creszhe had to focus his time on court fees and a likely big payout when he loses instead of messing with the young Olubori. Olubori, meanwhile, ignored this. He’s on track for a career season—he needs just 8 more goals in 22 games for a new career high. Creszhe can stay mad, Baku stays blessed. |
