2. Looking Towards the Future
- Next season won't be easy - we will definitely need some serious help with filling those empty holes in our roster. Primary thing definitely is a goalie line. We have two inactive and easy to say bad goalies as well. They haven't improved that much and probably won't do that either. Carolina "Kraken" needs at least one goalie who are already maxed out TPE wise or will be able to do it in one or two seasons. So, it's either through the draft if there's a chance or maybe a trade or free agency later on. Hopefully, our team won't lose couple of our best forwards because of call-ups too. They have been very impactful points wise and have a great chemistry. Big problem is defense as well. My player is a forward and he had to play as a defender for some time this season too. We need some improvements there as well. However, mostly we just need to figure out our TOP 5, so we know which players to trust the most. A lot of stuff is based on lines and strategies, so our management plus office can find a way to win with mediocre team as well, but better roster would help that a lot. We have to win a championship, so hopefully my forward will turn up too! We need improvements not only roster wise though. We need a human who can help new players to understand this league, get all the possible TPE and be the best possible player on the ice. So some help in the front office would help too.

3. Secret Plans
- As I've mentioned before, our team definitely has an edge to improve. I think we have to work even harder in off-season. We don't really have a time to rest or have a big vacation. We can take a week off to rest, but all the other time has to be a hard and rough workout. Training camp will be very important! We have to work with our physical stuff and technique as well. This season isn't even over yet and we might fight for a Four Star Cup, but next season can be our big chance. If we improve our defense and goalie line, plus keep our leaders who might get called up, then we definitely have a small edge against other teams. Our front office is very smart. Team chemistry is great and that's the key to success. We might get some edge with getting some underdogs from the draft as well. Everything is a small piece of a puzzle and it's very important to not mess it up. Team meetings to build up chemistry, meet-ups with fans. It's all linked together and if we keep it all up then we are good to go and will definitely have a better record than this SMJHL regular season. 10th place shouldn't be that hard to beat, to be honest. I think that our key to a triumph might be our fans too. If we get a good promotion campaign then arena should be full for all of our home games. And I think it's a very important thing in the road of success.

7. Winner Winner Chicken
- "Play-offs" has always been very unpredictable. We have seen many times where underdogs somehow brings the trophy home, so why wouldn't it happen this season too? Carolina "Kraken" finished the regular season only in the 10th place, but won the first round against Vancouver "Whalers" in just five games. Second round is against regular season winners - Maine "Timber". Series are tied at 2-2. Why couldn't this team surprise and win a championship? However, that's a biased opionion since I'm playing for this team. To be honest, I think that there are two real contenders - Newfoundland "Berserkers" and Nevada "Battleborn". Both teams did a great job in regular season by finishing in the TOP 5 and are only one victory away from semi-finals. If I had to make a bet - "Kraken" or "Battleborn" are winning it all. However, Yukon "Malamutes" finished the regular season in the 8th spot, but just humiliated 2nd place owner Colorado "Raptors" and made semi-finals by sweeping them. That's just proving my point that everything here is possible.

8. An Alternate Timeline
- For me there are couple of things that are very important as a player. First of all - time on the ice. Second of all - team's history and branding. I'm playing for Carolina "Kraken" because there I can have all of them. Of course, they decided to sign me, since the new rules are a bit weird, but I don't regret joining this squad. We are fighting for a Four Star Cup too and I can have my chances here. Nevada "Battleborn" are definitely my primary choice if there wouldn't exist such a franchise like "Kraken". This team is very new, but it has proved that they belong here. Great team, incredible branding, smart front office and a good place for new players to start their professional career. There isn't any other contender that I would love to play for. "Kraken" is a true definition of family, but that team from Nevada might not be that bad either. Hopefully we will get that championship and they don't get in our way to it, because it might be a hard series and a start to some good rivalry.
