Boy this one is topical. I'll likely have more to say about the season in a few days when everything settles out. Obviously it was a disappointment. The game 7 loss to New England afetr the rally and the potential comeback really stung. Montreal has been battling through the Eastern Conference with gusto, but little success. Three strong seasons and playoff runs in a row, they're just on the cusp, and its been painful, and doesn't look to be getting any easier. It was especially hard as Roddy B put up nearly a PPG pace this post-season, played his 50th post-season game with the Patriotes, and playing his 500th game this season. Roddys not getting any younger, and the elusive Cup seems further away than ever. It's a dark few days not, and things are very fresh. Nothing to do now but come back stronger than ever next season, and got the job done this time.
