Written Task:  Tell me about how your season went. Did you exceed expectations? Is regression starting to bite? Did you set a new career high? Did your team do better or worse? How did you factor there? What are your hopes for the playoffs - this year or next? (150+ words)


Season went pretty solid for Sean Davies. He set career highs in all his major stats meaning he must have played well. Some naysayers may say that that's just semantics and of course he set career highs since he was a rookie. But that's neither here or there. All things considered, it was a solid season defensively for Davies. Not a ton of takeaways, but he blocked a lot of shots. Could have used his body more, but he'll work on that. Offensively he's no sniper only scoring 1 goal on the season. He also only had 20 assists to go with his 14 giveaways, so he was definitely a little sloppy with the puck. Hopefully in the offseason he cleans that up and at the very least can be more responsible with the puck even if he's not actively scoring points. All in all he finished +17 on the year, so can't really complain. Hopefully next season is even better!
