We are thrilled to have the support of the local taxpayers of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in funding our new ice hockey arena for the Minnesota Monarchs. As for the name of the arena, we envision it being called "Crown Ice Arena," symbolizing the Monarchs' regal presence in the city and paying homage to the team's history. The name reflects both the strength and prestige associated with the Monarchs and the exciting sport of ice hockey. In terms of the location, we propose constructing the Crown Ice Arena in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. By placing the arena in a central location, we aim to maximize accessibility for fans and create a vibrant sports district. The arena will be surrounded by various amenities, including restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, creating a bustling atmosphere on game days and fostering a sense of community among fans. Beyond game days, the Arena district will serve as a year-round destination for residents and visitors alike. It will host community events, concerts, and other sporting competitions, bringing people together and enhancing the city's cultural landscape. Additionally, the district will incorporate green spaces and pedestrian-friendly areas, allowing for outdoor activities and creating an inviting environment for fans and families. Overall, the Crown Ice Arena and its surrounding district will become a symbol of pride for the city of Minneapolis, attracting visitors, boosting local businesses, and fostering a love for ice hockey in the community.
