Player task:
For William Salming, amenities in the stadium or rink are not so important. If there is an NHL-sized ice, it is enough. Of course for fans it will be useful to have some pizza or burger places where to visit between periods but for players everything they need is a locker room with enough space so everyone can stretch in a peace. In fact, William likes to visit in away arenas because locker rooms are there very minimalistic and simple. It helps William just to focus on playing hockey. That's why he hopes always that there is not any funny things in a home arena because they are distractions. A hockey is a job and Salming's job is just put the puck in the net. Nothing else matters. He doesn't want distractions for his working place. Even in the film room it would be nice if there were no sofas or chairs. Everyone would stand in all meetings and stay awake better that way. |
