Well it is official, Dan Johnston has just completed his first year in the J and it honestly was a mixed bag when it came to the results. Dan entered the season with visions of being a great shut down d-man who would jump on a grenade for his teammates. While he would still do that his defensive metrics didn't quite add up to what he wanted. Now on the other side of the coin Dan became one hell of a power play specialist, putting up 10 goals and 10 assists with the man advantage. That is exactly half of his total points for the season. While Dan looks forward to the draft and finding out where he starts his big league career, he will continue to work on the defensive end of his game to become an all around amazing dman. In the end, Johnston is looking to be an all around solid two way dman,  who just may be a steal coming out of the second round of the J draft.
