How many hours a week do you usually have free?
Depends on the week, but probably ~15 (2 hours a day-ish).

Is water wet?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

What made you join SHL?
Looking for a community and a different type of game than I'm used to!

What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible?
I have a competitive nature in me, so I'm never going to say I'm "satisfied" in a lower tier - I want to compete with the best and contribute to winning hockey. That said, I'm going to give it my all with any team I'm on, and I'm going to trust the organization's leadership to make the best decisions for ensuring we have a winning roster. 

If you had to give a 30 minute lecture off of memory, what topic would you choose?
Anything Canadian politics - whether it be a foundational class, or issue specific. Otherwise, probably some early modern European history (Napoleon and beyond).

Have you ever heard of Kelowna before joining this league?
Like the City in BC? Yeah I've got some friends from that area.

How do you feel about walruses? 
I feel the plural should be walri, not walruses. Otherwise, they seem pretty sick but I've never seen one in person.

In honour of your team's Pride Night, you're being asked to wear a pride-themed warmup jersey to be auctioned off for the benefit of a local LGBTQ+ youth charity. How do you respond?
I'll happily do it. I'll even take the time to sign my signature in rainbow, or dye my hair. Hockey is for everybody and if a jersey is all it takes for me to ensure someone feels represented and welcomed, that's the least I can do.

Any hobbies you've been into lately?
I've gotten into golf recently, as well as disc golf. And been looking to revive my photography hobby!

What is the best book you have read and why?
The Spy and the Traitor. Honestly, a great story that was super informative and engaging. I'm a history guy, so I like anything that can make historical events sound even more interesting.

What do you consider the most important part of a fun league experience?
The community makes or breaks it for me! A good community can make even the worst games great, and a bad community could ruin a perfect game. 

What's your favourite Pokemon? Why?
Pikachu. I had Pokemon yellow growing up and that was the starting Pokemon...plus, it's Pikachu!

What video games do you play?
COD Warzone, basically any EA Sports game or 2K Basketball, and then games like Fallout (3 is the best), Cyberpunk, etc. if I'm feeling more adventure and action.

If you were to choose a breed of dog you would most likely be, what would it be and why?
A Lab. Honestly, just loveable dogs. Doesn't get all the attention like a Husky or a Retriever, but ol' reliable. Loved my lab like nothing else when I was younger.
