The New England Wolfpack have two defensemen and seven forwards that went over a point per game in the regular season, and one in Ivan Lackasmus that lapped it with over two points per game. They haven't slowed down in the playoffs either, so they aren't just inflated by hot games against the tanks. What is it that makes the Wolfpack's offense so incredibly lethal? Can it be imitated, or only envied? Will it be enough to get them another cup with this core? Don't really have any explanation other than the shit sim engine we use. FHM is a complete waste. We joined this league to make players that are supposed to emulate what happens in the NHL. There's no possible way anyone in the NHL remotely comes close to the ridiculous numbers that people in the SHL put up. I guess kudos to NE for figuring it out but do we really just want cartoon hockey? That's what this league has become. I tried to make a player not like the others and be a true enforcer but he doesn't even remotely come close to playing like one. So I guess everyone should just keep making clones of what works and hoping they get enough people to buy into it. Can New England win with this core? Without a doubt they have figured out something so more power to them. But to me it just isn't real hocket like the experience should be.[/] Procrastinators [b]Code: 12. Written, 2 TPE - The Procrastinator Special! (100 words min.) Looks like [TEAM] won Season 72! Who won and why? What could the other team have done differently to change the result? What was your favorite part of the series? Looks like Winnipeg is in for the win. Basically they won by outscoring their opponents since the goaltending certainly wasn't stellar. We all know goalies don't matter in FHM and this series showed it once again.Winnipeg had 2 guys score over 30 points in 19 games. That's pretty ridiculous and totally unrealistic but that's the way the sim plays so they get credit for utilizing the system better than New England did. My favorite part of the series was it being over since to be frank I'm quite losing interest in this site with it's sham of a sim engine. So kudos to Winnipeg for figuring it out better than New England did. |
