Option 2
As a typical two-way center, Viktor Krunk does plenty in the course of the game to help his goalie. He clogs the middle of the ice, takes away passing lanes and does his best to intercept passes. He occupies the most dangerous area on the ice with presence and aggression. If a defenseman needs help digging out a puck in the corner, he will be right there, and someone is getting hit. Krunk does his best to disrupt the flow of attacking play, but that isn't all. The other big way he helps is by acting as a second goalie in terms of communication - and by that I mean he is constantly screaming at his defensemen about their positioning and where they should be. If he sees an error in defensive positioning, he goes in full force on a teammate for not living up to his high standards. He has made defenseman Puddles O'Duck cry more than once by doing this. |
