Hell, the harder part is just learning everybody's names. Used to be you just had to know the first syllable of every last name, and then add a Y. But these days, the nicknames are too damned complicated. A lot are still just the name with some newfangled addition like -ER or -STER or stupid -DOG. But then sometimes you have to call a dude EARTOOTH because of some locker room story that happened three seasons ago and no one is going to be kind enough to retell it and it wasn't even that funny but now it's your problem to remember Eartooth cuz God forbid we just call him Porty.
