Ju-gong would absolutely spend most of his offseason back home in South Korea, not to avoid fans or anything like that, but to simply be with family and unwind. That said, during the season it is something he keeps in mind while going out. While simple trips to a restaurant are fine given how few people that will cross his path, going to a mall or events outside the stadium is always an issue. It’s such a problem because Ju-gong absolutely will sign and take photos with everyone and anyone who’s willing. The humble Korean boy simply does not have the heart to say no to a fan. In fact, the few times he’s been pulled away from autographs sessions before games, it weighs on his mind for some time that he let those supporters down. Because this is such an issue, he does try to avoid situations where he might have to do all of this in excess, but still, he is always happy to make a fans day.
