Johnny Shuffleboard has always been a people's person. From his time in the Js and at the WJC he is always happy to interact with fans. When it comes to the offseason Johnny usually stays at home in New York. Training hard, trying to remember the general way hockey works (puck in other net!) and improving some defense (block the shot, it won't hurt) and working on skating (right edge, left edge, down, stop), Shuffleboard is always putting in the extra work to improve for the season. At the same time the beauty of New York is the easy access to tourist locations. Shuffleboard went to the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building this season. He spends quite some time in the public. He indeed bumps into many SHL fans. He recently had a whole conversation with one, if the Manhattan Rage have any chance at making the playoffs this season. Alas, he does not have to worry about fame. Nobody has any clue who he is. That is what happens when you score a total of 30 points as a sophomore in the league. |
