Option 2:
It's always a great time for pro athletes in the offseason, one of the biggest changes is obviously the amount of rest you can get. Just the relief on your body and mind is crucial to keeping your career going long-term as well. Seeing friends finally after a long grind during the season is nice to get your mind off the game, and family time is finally something you can focus on, trying to make up for the lost time during the season, or if you have kids, the lost time for your spouse. Meeting fans in the offseason is also a little different. During the season it's fun if things are going well, but they aren't always, so it can be a bit hard on the mind sometimes, but in the offseason it's almost always a positive and laid back time cause there aren't any games being played. It's best to set up some local community events in the offseason to not only keep the fans engaged, but also to keep your mind on the prize so to speak and give you some more motivation to keep going through the hard months of the year. |
