Usually Viktor stays in Quebec City over the off-season, largely for the charities he's committed to over the years, but also because he hates change. Maybe one of these seasons he will head out to what used to be his home and where he was born: Dover, England. Hockey isn't very big there, so he'd likely get away with walking around in relative anonymity, but any hockey fan in Dover does 100% know his name and his face and would also probably cause a scene upon spotting him. It's kind of inevitable, but Viktor's gotten a lot of practice in San Francisco and has learned to both handle it well and appreciate the experience. He's still awkward as heck, but he's always game for pictures and signing anything that's shoved into his hands, particularly with his favourite pen. Besides making a point of relaxing over the off-season, Viktor would make sure to offer his services as free publicity to anyone who asks for help.
