If Marek is in the area, he is always ready to participate in team events and be one of the faces of the Forge franchise. Part of that is due to his role as a young player, (the only rookie joining in S77 is from the same draft class) he is often stuck doing a lot of these types of events just due to seniority. But also, because he is so young, this is still very new to him. He’s always stated that he will never take this life for granted – he’s seen many other paths that people have walked and knows how fortunate he is to have made it this far. It’s out of appreciation for that good fortune and in honor of the hard work that got him here that he willingly participates in as many of these events as possible as long as he’s physically in the area because he’s desperate to get the ‘full SHL experience’ and maximize each and every day he has.
