While it might seem counterintuitive, adequate rest is essential. In the weeks leading up to the start of the season, Julian ensures he gets enough sleep and incorporates recovery techniques like ice baths, massages, and yoga to keep his body in optimal condition.

Lastly, Julian likes to spend some quality time with family and friends before diving into the busy world of SHL hockey and being away for most of the time. Knowing his family is always there to come back to keeps him happy and gives a feeling of security on the long trips to away games.
