Massive Coiler
File Worker Top 100... in our hearts
Option 2:
Obviously as an aging professional, as the offseason lingers on and my body gradually falls apart, bit by bit, I need to train harder than ever to stay in game shape and remain at a level that I would view as acceptable. Of course, I don't do that. I sit around for most of the early and middle summer months sipping mojitos on a beach that I spent way too much of my money to vacation at, putting a massive dent in my savings for retirement which is zooming closer with every overpriced drink I order over the course of the day. When I get back to Philly, a little closer to training camp, I hit the gym pretty hard, usually pull something and have to take some time off. Getting back on the ice is something that I always tell myself I'm going to do earlier and earlier each year, but it hasn't happened so far. I get out there once or twice before training camp, as most of my workout is just weights and the bike. I also spend a considerable amount of time trying to find performance enhancing drugs that are new and not banned by the league. So far, nothing, so I think the end may be near for me unless I start changing up my offseason habits. Which I won't. |
