S77 PT #0: Call me again when the season starts Due: Sunday, June 9th @ 11:59 PM PST

Code:
Offseason is almost over and team training camp just over the corner. How does your player prepare during these last weeks before team is put back together. Is it time for rest to so you can endure the long season to come, do they ramp up their gym practises or maybe do some special technical training to further improve their skills to make the next step during their career or keep fighting the inevitable aging? How do they spend their last few weeks before team training camp?

Early offseason when you're eliminated from the playoffs is always a solid time to relax and reflect on how things went for you during the season and also a prime time to talk with coaches and trainers to see what areas are worth improving on.  For J.P., this offseason was a huge one.  After taking a bit of a hiatus to get his affairs in order, he made the big move from Great Falls to Montreal for the big debut.  It is such a stacked rookie class this year that his trainers and he himself knew it would be a tough fight for a coveted "Rookie of the Year" award, among other things.  So with the last couple weeks closing in before the first puck drop of the season, it was back to work...hard work for the humanoid peanut in order to get mentally and physically prepared for the big leagues.  As we have all learned, playing with the big kids is nowhere like playing with the juniors.
