With only 1 loss in the preseason the Anchorage is looking good for this season. However, who will have the stamina to keep it up and carry the team all the way?
By the looks of it Peppi Guiseppe have found the right stick. And since the goals are the thing that will win games it will become very important that Peppi can continue scoring goals and perhaps even lead the team in points. The goaltender is an other important position that is crucial in a team. And this preseason PeanutButter Zamboni has shown that he will be a force to count on. 4 wins out of 5 games and .900 in sv% is a good start. And as long as the goaltending is this stable in the regular season the Boats will do very well. But for a team to play good you cant only do off en deff. you need someting in the middle, thats keep on grinding, never complaining and just keep it up. And thats where Didzis Kreslins will become an important player for the Anchorage. Racking up som pim when its needed and still staying on the good side of +/-. If theese three keeps it up there is not much that can stop the success |
