The Newfoundland Berserkers are set up fairly well to be a team that is in a decent spot to start the season, but could really ramp it up towards the middle and end of the season. I think there's quite a few players who's impact will be important for the success of the team, but to highlight just 3 it's hard to choose the ones who aren't leading the way at each of their respective positions.

The first is what everyone wants, their #1 defender. For Newfoundland, that's Turtle Bob. The powerplay quarterback, the penalty killer, leading a rookie by his side. Having an elite defenseman at all is important, and having him perform is one of the ultimate keys for any team to succeed.

The second is TheGreatOne. Your top line winger, powerplay, penalty killer. Newfoundland needs to lean on TheGreatOne if they want to find success this season.

And finally, in nets is my own player, Katharina Rosenthal. A rookie. A good team needs their goalie to do the bare minimum, a great team is elevated by their goaltending. It's a lot of pressure on a young rookie goaltender, but she can ultimately be a huge difference maker for Newfoundland.
