Late hits? Embellishment? Licking? Beck enjoys using all these tools in his quest for victory. If the refs don't see you do it, and you can get away with it, why not right? Sure he's been burned a few times by going to the sin bin, but he's never won a Turd Ferguson, so maybe he's just not doing it enough (or maybe he's just good at getting away with it). But, obviously, it's not okay when someone else does that to one of his teammates. Definitely not a one-size-fits-all rule. If Beck sees you doing that to poor ole LHL, he'll make his way over to you and stick a few fingers in your eyes for good measure. Beck is also getting towards the point of retirement, so if he has to sit out for suspensions, that just gives his old bones time to rest to then get back out there again and cause havoc. He can live with being the protector.
