It's very weird, but in the regular season, Dionne is a calm player who plays by the book. He doesn't try to get the attention on him by embellishing some moves to get a powerplay out of it. He have the "respect" for the game and he plays by the best of his abilities to win the game. He's got some so he's not afraid to exploit them. But in the playoffs it's not the same thing. He's ready to do anything to get the win. Not dirty hits, but some slashing or cross checking where it hurt and always trying to get in the head of the other team goalie. His brother gave him some tricks to try on them. Sometimes it's even the defensemen who loose focus first so he got some friendly visits but since he did 'nothing" the refs can't do nothing against him. That frustrate a lot a people, but his teammates love him because of that. |
