Trevor Lahey has never been the type that plays by the rules, he probably just doesn't know the rules because he can't read the rules, after all he only gotten his grade 11, couldn't quite get his grade 12. Beside laying out dirty hits when the refs aren't looking, the number one way he plays dirty is by playing the refs for fools. Trevor has years of experience of dealing with cops and getting out of trouble with the, it's not any different with the refs. If he "accidently" trips another player, Trevor will just sweet talk the ref into believing that the other player is just embellishing and trying to pull a fast one over on the refs, he would also mention that the other teams think the refs are stupid, just any way to stir things up a bit. it doesn't always work, but when it does its quite the sight to watch, maybe Trevor should have gone into sales...
