Being a goalie in the big leagues is tough and they are definitely one of the most important skaters on the ice. We have to respect our goalies and protect them as well. The pre game ritual I have with our goalie usually gets him hyped as fuck. On our way to the arena we just blast the most obnoxious music you can listen to and just get amped for our upcoming game. When we hit the ice it’s a different feeling altogether but I usually keep our goalie happy and fierce. When he lets a goal in he knows it’s not the end of the world we keep it together. We try to limit the shots on goal in general and no one is ever allowed to touch him on the opposing team. If anyone shoots snow at our guy we will basically take them out. When the game is over we look out for each other making sure everyone makes it home safely
