philippe eko eel has been a stalwart on the atlanta defense for many seasons and thus has been well known to all atlanta goalies that have come through, but unfortunately hasn't built a super long lasting relationship since there have been so many goalies during this time! he was great buds with all of them, but he's played in front of 5 different goalies in his time as an infernoeel. that's not actually that many for real hockey but for shl patterns it's quite a lot. anyway, through his experience in the shl he's learned that way more of the defensive responsibility lies with him and his defense compatriots than with the goalie themself so he tends to just basically ignore the goalie and let them do their own thing, hoping that they'll be able to stop any pucks that make it through atlanta's tight and strong defense, sometimes that hoping rewards him, and sometimes not. if the goalie lets one in, philippe eko eel pays them no mind. if the goalie makes an incredible save, PEE still hardly even glances and certainly doesn't outwardly acknowledge it. happily ignoring goalies all the way on home!
