Anchor: Hockey Player and Movie Director? Our sports reporter has the story.

Reporter: To get in the Halloween spirit, the SHL is having players from each team make a Halloween short film to get fans excited for all the games on Halloween night, we asked player Jeffrey Bjelland about the film he chose to make.

Bjelland: Yes, the movie will be about a hockey mask killer who goes around killing teens in the woods.

Reporter: That sounds oddly familiar to the "Friday the 13th" movies and the killer Jason Voorhees, is that on purpose

Bjelland: Oh... shoot! We already filmed it. Man, I'm going to get in some copyright trouble. I just thought the hockey mask was a cool idea.

Reporter: Bjelland ended up calling it a parody film, but we think he actually just forgot that a hockey mask killer already existed.

Anchor: The Movie will premiere live on Halloween Night, and will first be shown on the Jumbotron during the hockey game, and will be available to stream after on YouTube.
