Option 2:
As a forward you need to support your goalie anytime you are on the ice by giving them stick tabs on the pads and telling them good save. If they get scored on you go up to the goalie and give them or is it encouragement to be able to forget about it and move on and continue to play the game. Goalies need a lot of support because they can feel like it is always on them sometimes based on how the game is going and anything that the forward can do to help them out is appreciated by both the goalie and the team. During warm-ups Matiss is always trying to get the goalie ready for a game situation, so when he is shooting the puck during warm-ups, he is aiming for the pads glove or blocker to get the goalie used to pucks hitting them. As far as intermissions go, usually everybody stays away from the goal is to let them get into their right headspace. |
