The season has been fun but the Thunder Bay Walleye have been focused on one thing: playoffs. This is where the team wants to shine. The team has been reviewing tape and go over the strengths and weaknesses of Yukon, their first round matchup. The locker room is buzzing with excitement and the players are giving their all. Outside of the rink Thunder Bay is getting ready for the excitement that is the playoffs. Car and boat flags are everywhere and watch parties are being planned. The city which has full accepted their newly landed team is hopeful that they will be able to pull off a long playoff run.

As much as there is this nervous excitement, especially amongst the numerous rookies on the team, there is a calm confidence coming from the veteran players and management. The feeling is that the regular season was all just warm up for this moment. That the team will be able to turn it up a notch and out perform what they did in the regular season.
