S79 SMJHL Postseason Bonanza Due: Sunday, December 8th @ 11:59 PM PST

1. Fan Appreciation Day - 1 TPE (63 words)
The Kraken marketing department had quite the budget for Fan Appreciation Night. They were able to get the fans rally towels at every seat, alternating between white and orange. However, that is just the start of the festivities. There would also be small posters of different players included when fans first enter, as well as a bobblehead of none other than Swedish Chef.

2. Looking Towards The Future - 2 TPE (103 words)
I don't want to give away too many of the Kraken's secrets for next season, but in my opinion, we do not have a single weak point at any position. Despite losing some players to aging out, this Kraken roster is as strong as it has ever been. Kim Chaewon, Greyson Willis, and Goostavo are going to continue to tear it up, and the new rookies are going to make an immediate impact as well. Our biggest area of strength? Everywhere. Our biggest need? The need to win. We are simply the greatest to ever do it, in every aspect of the game.

3. Secret Plans - 1 TPE (79 words)
We will do whatever it takes to win. Our current plan is to unleash a series of Mario Kart-esque items onto the ice for each of our home games. Imagine going into a game and expecting to get hit with a clean hip check but getting absolutely demolished by a red shell instead. I think this is a great way to spice up the competition a little bit, and give us the upper hand in some of our matchups.

4. Funtimes - 3 TPE (166 words)
First of all, the team made a serious mistake promoting me to the position of "Fun Director." I'm going to make sure everybody on the team goes absolutely crazy. First stop? Mini golf. And this isn't just for fun mini golf. I'm playing to win. After that, I'm taking everyone to the zoo. We are gonna go look at every single animal that has ever existed on this planet, including the extinct ones. I'm talking polar bears, giraffes, lions, giraffes, zebras, giraffes, and the other ones. I'm gonna keep bringing them back to the giraffe exhibit because I freak with the giraffes. Finally, we will play a new game that I invented. I call it: "Golf Cart Racing in the Walmart Parking Lot." Basically, everyone gets a golf cart, and we all race each other around the Walmart parking lot. The winner is whoever can complete the most laps before someone calls the police. After that we will all go and have a nice bonfire together.

9. What's In A Name? - 3 TPE (152 words)
There are some absolutely legendary names in this league. I don't know if I could possibly list all of my favorites in this task, but I'll try to pick out a select few and why I like them. Starting off, Pohler Beargeron. This is a very clever play on "polar bear" and "Bergeron" and one of the first names I saw when I joined the league that I was like "yeah, that's good." We also have great ones such as The Puck and Hockey Player, which are right to the point. Can't argue with that. And of course, how could we leave out two of my absolute favorites, Grindle Waters-Johnson and Aloysius Hoglord III. I have brought these names up to my friends outside of the SHL community, and they think they are incredible. These two sound like they are right out of Key and Peele's East-West Bowl, and I love it.

11. A 6 Star Show - 5 TPE (280 words)
Here we go. My ideal starting line consists solely of players who came here from Slapshot Rebound and the SPL. Obviously, I will be starting with myself, Greyson Willis, at the wing. I bring to the roster the ability to play the winger position, which not many other players who came from the Slapshot signup wave can do. I will also likely play in more of a scoring role, because that is what wingers do. Our center will be none other than Vancouver's Aaron Noxus, who had very respectable stats this season in the J. He will be the backbone of the offense, hopefully winning lots of faceoffs and setting us up for at least a few scoring chances. Our other winger will be another player from Vancouver, none other than Jamal Freaky himself. With an extremely impressive plus minus of -69 this season (nice), Mr. Freaky will aid Willis and Noxus in attempting to score. Our defensive pair will be led by Colorado's Tiny Princess, one of the biggest bums in league history, fresh off a conference championship and finals loss. He will be our shutdown guy, until he decides he doesn't want to be anymore, and then he will play offense instead. Alongside Princess is Jaquavion Tavius, truly the most washed player of all time, who will hopefully play at least a little bit of defense out there. Rounding out the roster is none other than "elite" goaltender DarthDaevin, who certainly put up stats this season. I believe this roster could win at least one game, but we could even get lucky and win two! Not in Slapshot, though. I think this team in SPL is going defeated.
