Oh, Blade Hunter is definitely going to “The Greatest Show on Earth.” You tell him there’s a chance to prove hockey players are the toughest, and he’s already packing his gear. The show’s got all kinds of crazy challenges with baseball, soccer, football, and hockey... so Blade’s feeling good about the hockey parts. If it’s skating, shooting, or stickhandling, he’s showing off and flexing on everyone there. The other athletes are some big named football dudes who look like mountains, soccer players who can run forever, and baseball guys trying to look cool while standing still. Blade holds his own against them in everything except baseball. Put a bat in his hands, and it’s a disaster. He swings like he’s trying to chop firewood. Misses everything. Strikes out every time. Some baseball player laughs so hard he falls off the bench, but Blade just grins. “I don’t see you stopping pucks or taking hits, buddy.” In football, Blade does okay because he’s got size and can tackle. Soccer’s not too bad either, though his kicks look like slapshots. In the end, Blade ain’t the best at everything, but he works hard and puts hockey on the map.
