Grzegorz Brzeczyszczykiewicz always looks forward to opening night. It's the milestone that marks the beginning of a new season, a new shot at glory. At least, that's what it is for him: the moment to lock in. As such, the fans are usually in for a treat on opening night. Of course, sometimes it just doesn't work out, but there's never an opening night where Grzegorz isn't at least giving it his all. Sometimes, he's invited to a fan event after the opening game, at which he will stop and sign autographs despite being entirely soaked in sweat and perhaps not in the best of moods if the game went poorly. Sometimes, he isn't invited to this and it's the other stars up there instead; usually the team sends three to the fans and tries to pick the three who performed best that night. Fans are thus usually spared the worst of Grzegorz's moods after a really nasty loss.
