For the Spectres Opening Night is always a special event. We are in New Orleans so traditionally it’s Mardi Gras themed. We have a celebratory parade before the game starts at 7. We do a day of fun activities around the city. We normally like to provide food and we go around doing a bunch of fun small activities with kids around the city. We have a big ceremony before the game introducing all of the players one by one which is always a great site to see. Now we are going to be doing a little extra on top of that. We’re working on putting together the week before a charity to give food to homeless and then also hand out food to children in some poverty driven areas that aren’t fortunate enough to get food on their plates at home. So we always offer up food to every kid from Elementary to High School.
