Straight off the rip, there are a few that come to mind, however one that really stands out to me far above the rest is Maine Timbers 2nd year right winger Scott Fortune. He has had an amazing record this season. With an astonishing 85 points (2nd in the league behind QCC's center Cristoforo Roccamontepiano by one only 1 point). He's projected to get around 112 points by the end of the season. He is sitting at an impressive 40 goals, which is first in the whole smjhl for goals scored. The other 45 of his points come from assists (obviously), he is also top 5 for assists league wide. However, despite only mentioning his offensive stats, he is also fairly good at defense. He has 22 blocked shots on defense however blocked shots isn't Scott's definition of defense. Rather, his definition is being an absolute menace on the ice. He has a whopping 125 hits so far, leading his team in hits as a winger. For all the reasons mentioned, I believe he is easily the MVP of this season.
