Cristoforo Roccamontepiano - This is the easiest answer, right? The defending MVP did it again, leading the league in points by a landslide (19 points ahead). Quebec also has the harder division - slightly - with Newfoundland and Anchorage also looking to go deep in the playoffs. Cristoforo also has the lowest average ice time among potential MVP candidates with just 19:15 per game.
Valterri Pulkkinen - Second in points for this season & defending goals leader from last season, I believe Pulkkinen is the most well-rounded player in the league. In addition to his offensive stats, he has the second-highest OGR and third highest GR in the entire league. His combination of hits + blocked shots paired with all of the other stats clearly puts Valterri in the MVP conversation. Katharina Rosenthal - The starting tender for the Berserkers had a tremendous outing this past season that I believe warrants MVP consideration. Her 36 wins led the league by a wide margin and was the most from a single goalie since Season 76. She also led all starters in GAA (2.70) and save percentage (.915) despite playing in the harder conference. Code: Words: 150+ |
