For me I think the front runner, straight up, for the MVP is easily Jeff Kirkstone III. He's second I the league in wins with thirty one, and leads the league with an insane 8 shutouts in 57 appearances on the ice. While the Highlanders have definitely had an up and down season as a team, finishing sixth overall and third in their conference, and seeing Kirkstone was 31-23-1 overall in those outings, I truly believe that he is a big reason why the Ottawa team is still in the hunt currently.

Kirkstone III faced the fifth most shots in the league at 1499, and while his GAA (3.24) was less than stellar and his save % was sub 90% (0.895) I believe he is a huge reason why the Highlanders remain a threat going into the playoffs. Without him m on the roster, the team coul easily have finished in the bottom 5-6 teams in the entire league instead of sixth overall. The choice is obvious and clean. Jeff Kirkstone III for MVP!
