Toronto barely made it into the playoffs over the Hamilton Steelhawks, and for that I will forever hold a grudge. I'm glad to see they capitalized on the opportunity though. Regular season success can mean a lot, but no one ever remembers who "won" the regular season. Playoff progress and the cup winner is all that ever gets remembered, so sign me up for a deep playoff run after a disappointing regular season any day of the week. Plus take it from me, a guy that had no reason to care about the playoffs: it's a lot more fun keeping up with things when your team is in the playoffs. (100+)

Looks like San Francisco Pride won the cup...again. If Tampa Bay Barracuda really wanted to win the cup, they should've rebranded into something completely different than the Tampa Bay Barracuda. I've been around for a while now, and for as long I've been around the Tampa Bay Barracuda have been cursed. They've always been good enough to not be bad, but never good enough to win it all. I've seen them get to the finals a handful of times now, only to keep losing in heartbreaking fashion. At this rate, the Minnesota Monarchs will win before they do. Congratulations to the San Francisco Pride though, soon we'll be having the "literally HAM part deux" conversations, wondering if we have to break up the Great Lakes in the name of parity. It has been rare to see any team stay at the top as long as they have, but I won't get sad when the forums are finally a different color. (150+)
