8. San Francisco has a great roster that was built through both drafts and trades. Acquiring a lot of great users and players over time and attracting other users to them in both free agency and trades. On the outside looking in, I have only heard positivity about their locker room which is one of the biggest parts in establishing a team in my opinion. A great locker room allows players to stay happy and invested in the league which has had a great effect in San Francisco's ability to keep their users active and engaged as most of the roster reaches close to 2000 tpe. BadWolf was the co-gm of Yukon while I was in the SMJHL and she was a big part of the team and organization, making it great to be around. I have no doubt that her stepping into the GM role with the Pride in the past couple seasons has had a big effect on the positivity in San Francisco I have heard a lot about. A great locker room, with great users is something every SHL team should be focused on building and San Francisco is one of the best examples you can have of how any team should be building their roster and their success is a direct result of that. 13. Latvia has recently taken some big steps forward in the past couple IIHF tournaments, surprising everyone with a silver medal last season for the first medal in a long time. Ratvia in the World Junior Championships has been a lot better as well, picking up a medal in 4 of the last 6 tournaments. Latvia has a lot of high quality young players coming up that will be looking to make their impact at the IIHF level. A couple young defensive players that will undoubtedly take on some big roles in the future like Deth Klaw, Max Belcher and Roquefort Cotswald will be making their Latvia debut in the next few tournaments and some high skilled young forwards like Robo Sven and Jim Wieners will be coming up with them around the same time. Latvia is fortunate enough to have a strong prospect pool and looks to be stronger than they have ever been before.
