Luca is no stranger to dropping the mitts and sticking up for his teammates. While in the second half of the season, against Texas no less, Luca decided the team needed a boost right off the bat for that playoff push. The only logical thing to do is drop the gloves right off the opening face off. You have to set the tone early, and Captain Pane knows this. Texas’ Marton Diehm would be the dance partner this time around. You could see it when they lined up at center ice, these two wanted to a fight and they were about to get it. The two veterans duke it out causing the fans to go nuts, but in the end, Luca would find his way to victory after a stunner of a hook. While Luca skated off to the box, his team mates now full of fire, go out and show Texas why New Orleans is going to win the division.
