It’s been a tough rookie season for Jett Labyrinth, who’s adjusting to life in the big leagues with a new team and a new position. Jett feels like he’s barely making a difference out there most nights and he is just trying not to be a net negative for his team. Late in the season, in a big game against Edmonton, who they are battling for a playoff spot with, Jett took it upon himself to make a play for his team. The Aurora were down 2-1 and their play was getting stale, they clearly needed a spark. Jett has never been much of a fighter, but would do anything for his team so when an Edmonton player delivered a big hit on an Aurora player, Jett jumped in and started firing punches at him. It was an adrenaline rush that he’s never quite experienced before, however he did get his fair share of punches thrown back at him. Overall, the fight was a draw, but it did seem to spark up the Aurora’s play who ended up winning the game.
